Terms of Sale and Use

Effective date: August 25, 2026 · Last updated: August 25, 2026

These terms are a contract between you and Harden Ventures, Inc. (“Harden Ventures,” “Rise,” “we,” “us”), a California corporation. They cover your use of risecane.com (the “Site”) and your purchase of Rise Cane and any other products we sell (the “Products”).

Please read them before you buy. By placing an order or using the Site, you agree to these terms.

1. Who we are and how to reach us

Address: Harden Ventures, Inc., 55 Mississippi Street, San Francisco, CA 94107

Email: support@risecane.com

2. What Rise Cane is

Rise Cane is a walking aid. It’s designed to provide support while walking and standing.

Rise Cane isn’t a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. We don’t know your medical history, your balance, your gait, or your strength. If you have a condition affecting your mobility, talk to a doctor, physical therapist, or occupational therapist about whether a cane is right for you and how to size and use one. A walking aid that’s the wrong height or the wrong type can make a fall more likely, not less.

Nothing on the Site is medical advice.

3. Safety information you need to read

Maximum user weight: 100 kg / 220 lb.This limit applies to every size. Don’t use Rise Cane if you weigh more than this. Don’t use it to support another person’s weight or to lift or move objects.

Size.Rise Cane comes in four fixed heights: S (33″), M (34.25″), L (35.5″), and XL (36.75″). The height can’t be adjusted, so choosing the right size matters. Use our size guide before you order, and check the fit before your first walk.

Inspect it regularly. Before each use, check the tip, the shaft sections, and the folding joints. Make sure the sections are fully seated and the cane locks straight with no play at the joints. Replace the tip when the tread wears down, when it stops gripping, or at least every 6 months, whichever comes first. A worn tip is the most common way a cane loses grip.

Stop using it if it’s damaged. If any part is bent, cracked, loose, or behaving differently than it did when new, stop using it and contact us at support@risecane.com.

Use approved parts only.Replacement tips other than ours haven’t been tested with this product and may not grip properly.

Conditions to avoid. Ice, loose gravel, wet tile, use as a step or lever.

4. Orders, prices, and payment

When you place an order, you’re making an offer to buy. The contract forms when we send you a shipping confirmation, not when you click purchase.

We may decline or cancel an order for any lawful reason, including pricing errors, suspected fraud, or stock issues. If we cancel after you’ve paid, we refund you in full.

Prices are in US dollars and don’t include tax or shipping unless we say so. We can change prices at any time, but a change won’t affect an order we’ve already confirmed.

Payment is processed by our payment provider. We don’t store your full card number.

5. Shipping

We currently ship within the United States only. We don’t ship to addresses outside the US, including US territories, unless stated at checkout.

Delivery estimates are estimates. Title and risk of loss pass to you upon the carrier’s delivery of the package.

6. Returns and refunds

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to return a Product for a refund.

You can return it even if you’ve used it. We’d rather you actually try walking with it than guess. Just keep it in reasonable condition and include the tip and any accessories.

To start a return, email support@risecane.comwith your order number. We’ll send instructions and a prepaid return label.

We refund to your original payment method within 10 business days of receiving the return. Original shipping charges are not refunded.

If a Product arrives damaged or defective, tell us within 30 days, and we’ll replace it or issue a refund at no cost to you.

7. Limited warranty

We warrant Rise Cane against defects in materials and workmanship as follows:

PartCoverage
Shaft sections, handle, nesting joints, and internal cord2 years from delivery
Tip and grip90 days from delivery

This is a Limited Warranty as that term is used in the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.

Who’s covered. The original purchaser, with proof of purchase. No registration required.

How to claim. Email support@risecane.comwith your order number and photos of the problem. If we confirm a covered defect, we’ll ship you a replacement part or a replacement Product at no charge. You usually won’t need to send anything back.

What isn’t covered:

  • Normal wear, including tip wear and grip wear
  • Use of replacement tips or parts we didn't supply or approve
  • Modification, disassembly, or repair by anyone other than us

The full warranty terms are available before purchase on our Warranty & Returns page.

8. Implied warranties

We don’t disclaim implied warranties, and under federal and California law we couldn’t do so while offering the written warranty above.

To the extent permitted by law, the duration of any implied warranty, including the implied warranty of merchantability, is limited to the duration of the applicable written warranty period in Section 7. Some states don’t allow limits on how long an implied warranty lasts, so this limit may not apply to you.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have other rights that vary by state.

9. Limitation of liability

Read this section carefully, and note what it doesn’t cover.

What we limit. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Harden Ventures isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of use, arising out of your purchase or use of a Product or the Site. For any claim relating to a Product, our total liability for such damages won’t exceed the amount you paid for that Product.

What we don’t limit. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by our negligence
  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
  • willful injury to person or property
  • violation of law
  • any other liability that can't be limited or excluded under applicable law, including California Civil Code § 1668

If you’re injured, this section doesn’t stand in your way.

Some states don’t allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

10. Using the Site

Don’t use the Site to do anything unlawful, don’t try to break or probe it, don’t scrape it, and don’t impersonate anyone.

We may suspend or terminate access if you do.

11. Our intellectual property

The Site and everything on it, including the Rise and Rise Cane names, logos, text, photos, and design, belongs to Harden Ventures or our licensors. You can use the Site to shop and to read. You can’t copy, republish, or use our content or branding for anything else without written permission.

12. Reviews and anything you post

If you submit a review, photo, or other content, you keep ownership of it, and you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and share it in connection with our business, including in marketing.

You confirm the content is yours to share, is accurate, and doesn’t infringe anyone’s rights.

Don’t post health claims about the Product that aren’t true, and don’t post anything unlawful, defamatory, or offensive. We can remove content for any reason.

13. Links to other sites

We sometimes link to sites we don’t control. We’re not responsible for them.

14. Product changes and recalls

We may change, improve, or discontinue a Product at any time. If we ever need to correct or recall a Product, we’ll do it in line with applicable law and Consumer Product Safety Commission requirements, and we’ll contact affected purchasers using the information you gave us at checkout.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in effect when you place an order governs that order. We’ll post the effective date at the top and, for material changes, give notice on the Site.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by California law, without regard to conflict of laws rules.

Let’s try to sort it out first. If you have a problem, email support@risecane.com before filing anything. Most things get resolved this way.

Where claims are heard. Either of us may bring an individual claim in small claims court.

Nothing here limits your rights under California’s Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act or the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.

17. The rest

If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce something isn’t a waiver of it. You can’t transfer these terms; we can, in connection with a sale of the business.

These terms, plus the warranty, the privacy policy, and any terms shown at checkout, are the whole agreement between us about the Products.
